Summary: Candy Quakenbush thinks she has a boring life as she lives in
Chickentown Minnesota, until she goes out walking outside of town and meets an interesting looking man with antlers. Suddenly she is pulled into a dangerous adventure that leads her into the islands of Abarat.

Recommendation: I loved it. It was kind of a mix of Alice in Wonderland and the Chronicles of Narnia.
