Summary: David decides to change his name to Blue Avenger, after a comic book hero he's been obsessed with. And after he changes his name, he feels different - his relationship with Omaha Nebraska Brown changes, he's a hero at school, and he develops the confidence he needs to stand up for what he believes in. But then there are totally random things thrown in that don't affect the story at all.

Recommendation: No. There were some things about this book that made me want to like it - I liked Omaha and her relationship with her brother, Travis. But there was too much philosophical stuff going on, too much emphasis on questionable themes, too many little quirky things meant to be funny (like the name, Omaha Nebraska Brown, what's up with that?),
and too many loose threads that never got explained. The ending itself was a total copout. I will not bother with any more in this series or by this author.
