Summary: Two Chinese city boys are sent into the mountains to be re-educated during the Cultural Revolution. They discover Western literature and begin an illegal re-education they never anticipated.
Recommendation: This is a fast read. It is fascinating to watch the characters discover literature and see how it cultures can affect each other. I felt unresolved at the end, but I don't know how else it could have concluded.
