Summary: Madlyn and Rollo end up with an adventurous summer when their parents take a job in America and the kids stay with relatives at Clawstone Castle. With some ghostly assistance, the children turn around the state of affairs at the ailing castle. They end up being the reason for much improvement.

Recommendation: This is a book that will appeal to younger children. I did not have it hold my attention as well. So - it would be a fun read aloud to younger elementary aged groups, maybe 3rd to 5th grade levels.
