Summary: The book was set in the era of the depression. It is about a woman whose husband passed away and takes over the full responsibilities of the farm. She is called to be a Relief Society president and learns to love women who she formerly judged and disliked.

Recommendation: Yes. I loved it! I loved how the main character transforms from an abrupt somewhat harsh woman to a sensitive kind non-judgmental woman. I enjoyed the way she grows to love people when she gets to know them.
