Summary: Taran, Assistant Pig-Keeper, is asked to help Lord Gwydion in his quest to steal the cauldron Arawn uses to make his Cauldron-Born (warriers who cannot be killed). Eilonwy, Gorgi, Doli and Fflewddur share in his adventure, some because they were asked and others because they refused to be left at home. Taran disobeys orders from Lord Gwydion and finds the cauldron before anyone else. He and his friends purchase the cauldron and begin the journey home to destroy it. The cauldron is very powerful and resists being taken, causing many problems.

Recommendation: Yes, it's a fun story. It is a lighthearted adventure. I like the pace of the story and the interactions between the characters.
