The Cat Who Robbed a Bank

Title: The Cat Who Robbed a Bank

Author: Lilian Jackson Braun

Summary: Quill Qwilleran is a journalist with passing interest in espionage. In other words, he's nosy, but people feel they can talk to him. He also received an inheritance, and is very rich, but uses the money to promote the culture in his small town. His latest project was the overhaul of an old hotel in down-town. Unfortunately, the first business guest to stay in the presidential suite is murdered, the assistant is missing, and a local hero is suddenly missed as well. Even more bothersome is Quill's two cats, Koko and Yum Yum. Koko seems to have a psychic connection to the murder case, and keeps trying to give Quill clues. Unfortunately, they're not entirely clear. After all, Koko is a cat.

Recommendation: I would recommend this book. It is a light read, and is a great reminder of what life in a small town is like, and that it's up to us to promote culture in our communities. Besides that it is a decent who-done-it, and I'm definitely going to pick up some more.
