Summary: A novelist named Fritz wrote a story and a character in his story came to the parlor where he was reading it. An apprentice to a clockmaker uses what he says to help him but instead something else quite different turned out happening. It also has what happens in Fritz's story into this. Both of them intertwine with each other.

Recommendation: I'd definitely recommend this book. It's really cool how it's written. The actual story's interesting too. I wouldn't recommend reading it at night though. It gets a little scary at one part in the story.
