Summary: One summer, Hattie finds out that she has a mentally-handicapped uncle, Adam. The school Adam has been attending is closing and he comes home to live with his parents. Hattie spends much of her summer with her uncle, trying to understand him and help him.

Recommendation: Yes. It's sad but realistic. It's a good view of dealing with a person you care about who is different.
