Summary: Nina Romano the former Mayor wants to buy the the Inn at Willow Lake. She sets up with the bank to run the place and then the plan is in 6 months to take out a loan to buy the place from the bank. In the mean time while she is on vacation with her daughter Greg Bellamy buys the Inn and with it her contract to manage the Inn. As Nina and Greg work together he decides he wants to date Nina and she doesn't want to. They have a history growing up in the same town. The book also goes back to the times when they were growing up and had interactions and when the didn't. Many subplots and secondary characters. Several will be in the next book. This book is the 3rd in "The Lakeside Chronicles." As they work together this is the main plot of the book. The 4th book is called "Snowfall at Willow Lake."

Recommendation: No. I won't recommend it I guess for the main reason I didn't like the times that they went back to when they were growing up. I wanted to see more of Nina and Greg now. I think this book is better than the 2nd book I read in the series called The Winter Lodge." The book is clean but there are a few swear words in the book.
