Recommendation: This is the first book marked the launch of the Dragonlance series, and provides an introduction to the world of Krynn and the heroes at the center of many of these books. It is also the first book of the Chronicles trilogy, and should be read expecting the story to continue. I personally found it quite enjoyable reading.
