Summary: This is a book of the Passage of Promise series. This tells of the struggles of a young woman who after leaving her abusive husband seeks a new life in a foreign country. It chronicles her encounters of faith and her personal growth from her struggles and how in the end all works out to her heart's desire.

Recommendation: This was set in a historical period and allows a glimpse into the struggles of that time. It kept me on edge wondering what was going to happen and how it would all work out.
