Summary: Carrie Montgomery sees the photo of a man in the mail-order bride charity she and her friends are running and decides that she must marry him. After tricking her father into agreeing to let her be married, she's off to meet her husband. Unfortunately, she's also lied to him about her ability to farm. Her new husband, Josh, isn't amused and is downright livid to find he's been lied to by a rich, spoiled girl. After a little bit, they both realize there's more to each other than they thought and love is the result.

Recommendation: I liked this book fairly well. Although it's wildly improbable that a rich girl would pick a mail-order husband, it was fun. I just skipped over the few sex scenes and enjoyed the story in the book. It's a decent read for a summer afternoon.
