Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Title: Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Author: Jonathan Safran Foer

Summary: This is the story of a boy who is seeking information about his father who died in the Twin Towers on 9/11. He searches for anyone and anything that can lead him closer to the memory of his father. As he searches he brings new meaning to what it means for a life to be important, and realizes just how important our relationships with other people are.

Recommendation: I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes books that make them think. This is not a light read, and is not a story that you can really understand right away. However, the way that Foer writes the book provides the reader with an amazing platform to begin thinking about our relationships with other people and how we can live a good life. The story is quite inspiring, and Foer's writing style is very unique and fun to read.
