The Final Warning (Maximum Ride, book 4)

Title: The Final Warning (Maximum Ride, book 4)

Author: James Patterson

Summary: Max and the flock continue their adventure as they travel to the biting and harsh Terra of Antarctica to aide some scientists in their attempt to put a stop to Global Warming. Emotions run high on their quest as danger becomes more and more evident. Not only do they realize that their lives are on the line, but the same for every living thing on earth if people treat their home in a bad way.

Recommendation: I thought that the book was kind of weak and that it added very little to the story. There was not much to this volume of the series, and I was a little disappointed at how it turned out. Probably my least favorite book in the series; I wasn't very satisfied with the ending and thought that the book was a little brief. If you are really anxious to continue the series, you might want to still read it, but I found that it wasn't much compared to the rest of the Maximum Ride books. I'm all for protecting the planet, but I'm not sure that basing the book entirely on the subject of Global Warming was the best
idea.

I agree. Basing a book series, or even a book on Global Warming is a little extreme. But, then again the books themselves are great novels and are packed with themes and AIMs (author's intended message). Other than that I would certainly have to agree.
