Summary: Jim Chee and the legendary Joe Leaphorn combine efforts in an unusual way to track down the disappearance of a vector control woman and the correct murderer of a Navajo Tribal Policeman. In the story, Joe is retired and working as a private investigator, a new role for him. Jim is the acting lieutenant in Joe's place, and hanging on. It is fun to learn about the habits of eagles, traditions of the people, and landmarks of the South West area.

Recommendation: This was a fun and interesting book. I recommend it highly.
