Summary: This book was written by the author of Flags of Our Fathers and is about the story of the American pilots that fought in the Pacific during World War II. The book focuses on the fate of a group of pilots shot down over Chi Jima, an island close to Iwo Jima.

Recommendation: If you liked Flags of Our Fathers you will probably like this book. This book is a little bit graphic as it describes the deaths of the Fly Boys. I think Bradley does a good job of explaining both sides of the story, the American and Japanese side.
