Summary: The bright and promising Viktor Frankenstein stumbles upon a great secret in his studies--how to give life to inanimate beings! He begins to perform experiments and finds himself creating a creature that mimics a man's form. However, as soon as the creature was given life, Frankenstein became repulsed by it a fled. Over time, because Frankenstein denies the creature his one wish--a female companion--the creature turns into a monster and wreaks havoc on all that Frankenstein holds dear.

Recommendation: I would recommend this book on the basis that it's a classic. It was very different than what I expected based on what I've seen in the media about "Frankenstein." Worth the read.
