Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Summary: The final conclusion in the Harry Potter series. The fight against Voldemort continues. Harry is willing to give up everything to fight against Voldemort.

Recommendation: Yes. This book was action packed! The only complaint I had was I wish there were a few more things developed and a little more explanation of what happens to everyone in the epilogue.

Summary: This is the last of the Harry Potter series. It certainly lived up to the reputation of the other books and was a great ending to an exciting series.

Recommendation: If you're only partway through the Harry Potter series I would definitely recommend finishing the series. I really enjoyed this last book because it wasn't as dark as the 5th or 6th and it J. K. Rowling wrote a great plot. It was nice to have all the loose ends closed up. My only complaint is the after word which I found cheesy.

Summary: Harry leaves the Dursley's with the help of the Order of the Phoenix, but is attacked by Voldemort along the way. He goes to the Weasley's and he, Hermione, and Ron inherit items from Dumbledore. He goes to Bill and Fleur's wedding and at the reception finds out that the ministry has been taken over. The three flee to Number 12, Grimmauld Place, where they find a horcrux, and then they go to the woods. Ron does not believe in Harry's leadership and leaves. Hermione and Harry go to Godric's Hollow and are attacked. Harry learns some unsettling things about Dumbledore. Ron comes back, saves Harry's life, and destroys a horcrux. The three friends go to the Lovegood house and learn of the Deathly Hollows. They then get taken to the Malfoy Manor. Dobby gets them out and dies. They go to Gringotts and get another horcrux. They go back to Hogwarts. Hermione destroys Hufflepuff's Cup. Harry finds the Lost Diadem of Ravenclaw. Goyle destroys it. Voldemort kills Snape and Harry learns much of Snape's past, and that he was actually on the good side. Harry discovers he is a Horcrux and has Voldemort kill him, but he comes back to life. Using the Elder Wand Harry kills Voldemort. In the Epilogue, Harry marries Ginny and Hermione and Ron marry each other.

Recommendation: I really like this book. It is my favorite book in the Harry Potter series, so I would definitely recommend it.
