Haunted Castle on Hallows Eve

Title: Haunted Castle on Hallows Eve

Author: Mary Pope Osborne

Summary: This is the second book of a special series from 'The Magic Tree House'books, called 'The Merlin Missions'. In this book Merlin the magician sends a brother and sister, Jack and Annie, on an adventure to the mythical place of the outlying realm of Camelot. They travel in a magic tree house to get there and have to help solve the strange things that are happening at a duke's castle, if they can.

Recommendation: Yes, it is a fun book. It is considered a children's book but I really like them. I started reading them to my niece and nephews, who like them, at bedtime but found myself reading ahead after they were asleep it is hard to stop. They are so fun and informative too. But beware! you may get hooked on the whole series!

I thought of Halloween on Haunted Castle on Hallows Eve. Because When Jack and Annie come back from their mission. They don't go trick or treating, They just stay in their house and give out candy to the trick or treaters. I mean, this is the only job they do. They act like Halloween Candy sellers. Maybe Jack and Annie told their mom that they didn't feel like walking around the neighborhood and trick or treat. Maybe they will trick or treat this year. I think a clown will go trick or treating with them. and if a clown comes with them. That would be funny.
