Summary: Charles, John, and Jack are given a secret map called the Geographica. John was trained to read it but doesn't know it. All three are called upon to use their earthly talents to overcome the darkness and evil of suddenly called upon to travel to the world of Imagination to save it from the Winter King. While saving this other world, they learn of the origins of many of our greatest stories on earth.

Recommendation: I recommend for teenagers and lovers of science fiction. Be prepared for a lot of literary references. Knowledge of other literature greatly increases the enjoyment of this book. In reading it, you will think, "Oh, this is just like . . .” It happens over and over, and was done on purpose.
