Summary: A suspense novel. Kate/Tricia is hiding out from her husband who abused her and tried to kill her and her unborn baby. So she left and was in hiding for 2 years. She meets paramedic Scott McCall who helps her and they live together with no questions asked and with the freedom to end things when they want to. As her best friend is murdered and her husband charged, she discovers that he is charged with her murder too, and she feels like she can't let that happen so she decides to go back, and leave Scott, but still protect her 18 month old son Taylor at the same time.

Recommendation: NO,NO,No. I didn't like the book. I would not recommend the book. There was violence at the end, and I did need to skip pages in this book. I even got mad at the book and at several places toward the end I wanted to just skip to the end and be done with the book. I don't think I will read another one of Tara Taylor Quinn's books either.
