Summary: Cathy and Chris have moved to California and have 3 kids. The middle son is having problems and only gets worse when he goes and visits the neighbor next door. It is an old lady that likes to be calld grandmother. They know something is really wrong with him but they can't figure it out.

Recommendation: It was a lot cleaner because it was told from the point of view from the 2 boys. I didn't like how it went from one point of view to the other because I could never tell who was talking at first. The story wasn't as interesting and was really kind of slow. Nothing really happened until the last few chapters when it got interesting.
