Title: In a Sunburned Country
Author: Bill Bryson
Summary: This book is basically a travelogue of Mr. Bryson's tour of Australia. It seems pretty comprehensive as it includes visits to every large city of the continent. It is obvious that he has a soft place for the country, but I believe he tries to be mostly unbiased in his reviews of the different sites.
Recommendation: I would recommend this to anyone that has an interest in Australia. I found it a bit slow reading in parts, but I still looked forward to reading it every night and increasing my knowledge of the country. Bryson is a humorist and that helps to spice up what could be an otherwise bland travelogue. Overall, I found it a relaxing, enjoyable read.
