Kneeknock Rise

Summary: Egan travels to Kneeknock Rise to spend the summer with his aunt, uncle, and cousin. This town is very proud of their claim to fame, a monster on the mountain above them that moans when it's stormy. Egan sets off up the mountain to see if it really exists.

Recommendation: Yes, this book was very thought-provoking. It made me think about if there are things we cling to in our culture our society, like the people did in the town in the book.
