Summary: This is a story about a boy, Leven, orphaned by his mom as a baby. He lives with relatives who treat him poorly. Now at age 14 some strange things are happening and he meets clover and Winter. Leven discovers that he and Winter have special gifts. They find out that they have to find the gateway to a magical place called Foo and they need to destroy it to protect it from evil.

Recommendation: Yes, I would. This is the first in the series and I am interested to read more and see where the story goes.

Summary: A 14 yr. old boy, Leven Thumps, lives with relatives in Oklahoma. His relatives think very little of him and treat him horribly. He soon learns that he is very important in life as he discovers the part he plays in the real world and Foo, a place that makes it possible for people to dream and hope. Foo is in trouble and needs the help of Leven. Leven discovers a gift that he has, meets Winter, a girl from Foo, Geth the ruler of Foo, and Clover, his sycophant. Leven is about to encounter many adventures and dangers.

Recommendation: I would recommend this book. It is very exciting and entertaining.

Summary: Leven Thumps is an orphan who has a seemingly impossible mission to
accomplish. He is aided by magical friends who keep him laughing and give him strength. His family legacy is to save the world and keep us all dreaming.

Recommendation: I liked this book and so did my family. It is a fun read and
is a lot like Harry Potter in theme and tone. Very imaginative and clever.

Summary: Leven Thumps was a regular kid until he finds out that he is the only one who can save the entire world. With the help of his friends he makes it pretty far. But can he make it past the one thing threatening to destroy every thing?

Recommendation: I would certainly recommend this book. The beginning is a little slow, but like most books. The more you read the more you aren’t able to put it down.
