Summary: This is the fourth mystery in the Lieberman series. A burglar witnesses a murder. The setting is present-day Chicago and has a Jewish cultural base.

Recommendation: This is an excellent series by Kaminsky, much better than the Toby Peters series. However, I think his Russian-policeman-based Porfiry Rostnikov series is the best. This one has a plot similar to the Lawrence Block 'Bernie Rhodenbarr' series, but is definitely superior. The characters evolve, so the books should be read in order of publication.
