The Life of Pi

Summary: The story of a young Indian boy who grows up around animals (his Father is a zoo keeper) and in the midst of a move across the ocean ends up stranded on a lifeboat with a small group of animals, amongst them a fierce Bengal tiger. His story of survival against the elements of the ocean and outwitting a tiger.

Recommendation: I enjoyed this book a lot. It was interesting and very vivid and the ending itself draws up big question marks that make you think and wonder, did all this really happen? This book also made me grateful for my all the things I enjoy that get taken for granted, and wonder at my own will to survive if faced with such a fateful set of circumstances.
