interweaves their stories through chapters which switch between past and present and gradually weaves the story of the relationships of these women.

Recommendation: The way it was written shifting from past to present between the characters intrigued me. I really enjoyed the book and found its learning style quite true. It is cleverly written and put together and I had a difficult time putting it down.
