Author: Jack Lyon
Summary: FBI agent David Hunter is assigned to decipher a code on a Joseph Smith letter, and at he's trying to decode a paper passed down to him by his grandfather that he nicknames "The Moroni Code". He ends up in the middle of a case involving thefts of Church Historical Department documents and almost dies in the meantime, but if he doesn't solve the mysteries he'll never understand the importance of the gospel to his grandfather or the rest of his family.
Recommendation: Sure - it's ok for a fast read, and there are a few puzzles to figure out along the way. The takeoff from the DaVinci Code is even mentioned, so at least the author is obviously piggybacking off the other best seller - this one isn't quite as thrilling, but no swearing almost makes up for it.
