Mrs. Pollifax and the Hong Kong Buddha

Title: Mrs. Pollifax and the Hong Kong Buddha

Author: Dorothy Gilman

Summary: The CIA suspects one of their agents going A-wall on them and sends Mrs. Pollifax to investigate. She plays the part of innocent tourist until she discovers a man in her room at night, she hooks up with Interpol, and discovers that a Buddha she was given as a present contains secret information that terrorists will kill for. Without her husband, she would not survive.

Recommendation: Yes, I would recommend this book. From beginning to end it captures the attention and makes it hard to put it down! Mrs. Pollifax definitely has more guts than I do.

Title: Mrs. Pollifax and the Hong Kong Buddha

Author: Dorothy Gilman

Summary: Mrs. Pollifax travels to Hong Kong this time. She has to check up on a friend who is working for an agent that may be in trouble or double crossing the CIA. Seems simple enough. But, like always, it gets much more complicated.

Recommendation: I would recommend this book. It is exciting. Some of the Mrs. Pollifax novels take a few chapters to gear up. This one jumps right into the thick of things.
