Mrs. Pollifax on the China Station

Title: Mrs. Pollifax on the China Station

Author: Dorothy Gilman

Summary: Mrs. Pollifax is asked to be a cover for another agent (whom they don't tell her who it is) and to make contact with a man in China who can tell her where a labor camp is. The object: To get a man out of China who has valuable information and, as yet, has not been discovered by the government.

Recommendation: I would recommend this book. Mrs. Pollifax is such a believable character that it's fun to read the situations she gets in and her wisdom, humor, or calm in situations. With every book building on the last, it was fun to read another adventure.

Title: Mrs. Pollifax on the China Station

Author: Dorothy Gilman

Summary: Mrs. Pollifax is assigned as an information gatherer to assist a fellow CIA agent in China. One catch, she won't know who her fellow agent is until she completes her part of the mission. Bishop is worried about this assignment. As it turns out, it may be for a good reason.

Recommendation: I would recommend this book. Even though an old widow as a cia agent may not sound exciting, Mrs. Pollifax gets herself into tight spots and right back out again.
