The techniques discussed are similar to Supernanny techniques and those found in "How to talk so kids will listen and how to listen so kids will talk".

Recommendation: Yes, I would recommend this book. It was a good summary book of the last couple parenting books I have read. I love that it has a chapter on handling anger for yourself, not the kids. It was very helpful and easy to read.
