Summary: Mangan, the regent for Prince Jamas, dies at an old age. He planned ahead, though, and left the prince with help and protection, especially a certain cat. The prince soon needs the help when he and the kingdom are threatened by a scheming queen of a neighboring land.

Recommendation: Yes, I would recommend this book. It was a light read, but doesn't over reach. The characters are likeable and it is fun to see things unfold.
