Summary: This book gives a great insight into upper class Grecian life and values around the 12th century BC. It is set in the story of Odyssey's journey home after the Trojan War. The reader also gets and insight into Greek Mythology.

Recommendation: So many writers refer back to events in this classic (along with the Iliad) that it is very helpful to understand this piece of literature as a base for hundreds of other books. I found it very interesting and insightful.
