Paint the Wind

Summary: A young girl who has lost her parents lives with an over-protective grandmother. After her grandmother's passing she goes to Wyoming to live with her other grandpa whom she didn't even know existed. The confinement she had with her grandma is gone, but she has to learn to live in an open outside environment. She finds hidden talents and feels connected to her lost mother.

Recommendation: At first I thought this book was an animal book. I don't care for those, but I love the author so I thought I'd give it a chance. It was lovely! She did a great job of intertwining the story of a young girl and the story of a wild horse then brings them together to help one another. Beautiful!
