Title: Physical Science Foundations
Author: Brigham Young University College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences
Summary: This book briefly discusses the basics of physics, chemistry, and geology. It is primarily conceptual for beginners and provides the "common knowledge" of current scientific belief and study.
Recommendation: Although it is a textbook, it is really cool. Most of the examples are presented well and don't detract from the information. The structure of the book also builds in such a way that the connections between the realms of science are clear. I enjoyed reading it.
