Round Robin

Summary: A Round Robin is a quilt created by passing the quilt around a circle of friends, each one in turn adding their unique border to the central block. The process of creating a Round Robin quilt tells the story of each of the friends who make up the Elm Creek Quilters and illustrates how their trials and experiences influence their contribution to the quilt.

Recommendation: While the presentation of the characters and story line is unique, it can be a little difficult to follow at times. I enjoyed the different perspectives of the characters throughout the story and the glimpse into the lives of the various types of people that all call themselves quilters. I found inspiration from the trials the characters face and overcome and I appreciate the strong undertone of the strength to be found in friends.
