Title: Sky Walker: An Astronaut's Memoir
Author: Tom Jones
Summary: This book covers the experiences of a Space Shuttle astronaut. Tom Jones flew on 4 missions aboard the space shuttle (STS- 59, 68, 80, and 98). During his last mission he performed the EVAs (space walks) to help assemble the International Space Station. The author gives great details about his four missions and other activities at NASA. However, the best part of the book is his description of the astronaut selection process. It makes you wonder if you would really want to go through that.
Recommendation: I love autobiographies from the space program. This is a very good book from the shuttle era. It is perhaps one of the best written of all the astronaut books and flows with humor and insights. I can fully recommend this book.
