Summary: Sophie is from Czechoslovakia. She lives there with her grandmother that talks Sophie into getting passage to America. When she gets here she joins a bible study group in Chicago. This is where she meets Janet that has a brother that just about the time Sophie came from Czechoslovakia his wife died in a car accident. So Sophie goes and helps him with is housework and taking care of his children.

Recommendation: I really enjoyed this book it is a good read about how different life styles can join as one. But if you don't like a book with some scripture in it it’s not for you.
