St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves

Summary: This book is a collection of short stories that by far beat the band for strangeness and content. The title story was my favorite about children born of werewolves some of which turn out more human than wolf and therefore can not survive with the wolves who give them up to be raised as humans. Others are a little more esoteric and all of them are slightly scary.

Recommendation: I picked this book purely for the funky title. I had no expectations and though not all of it is to my taste, I did enjoy a lot of it and found the author to have excellent abilities for setting a stage and creating a mood. It was not hard at all to hear the night noises, smell the smells and see the things she described.
