Title: Star Wars: Outbound Flight
Author: Timothy Zahn
Summary: Timothy Zahn has written another great book in the star wars series. The story occurs during the time period of Star Wars Episode III while Anakin is still a padawan to Obi Wan Kenobi. A Jedi master named Jorus C'Boath is heading up a project called outbound flight where he, 5000 colonists, and as many Jedi as he can muster will take a ride into another solar system to seek out new life and start some new colonies. Darth Sideous, a Sith lord bent on the destruction of the republic, sends out a spy along with the trade federation to intercept and destroy Master C'Boath and the Outbound Flight. None of them counted on a small group of smugglers who got lost ahead of the project, and a new race of blue-skinned and red-eyed beings called the Chiss. Will the outbound project make it out of the solar system safely? Will master C'Boath be able to command the large group without succumbing to the temptations of the Dark Side? Will Obi Wan and Anakin be able to foil Darth Sideous's sinister plot? To find out, you will need to read the book.
Recommendation: Timothy Zahn is a great author and understands the Star Wars time line very well. He has written many excellent novels as a part of the Star wars series. This book introduces characters that are in or referred to in later works by other authors and provides their origins and beginnings. If you like the star wars genre, I would highly recommend this book.
