Summary: Telemakos volunteers to be a spy in the king's service, even though he is only a child. When he is caught, he must maintain his cover of deafness-dumbness against all provocation, or he will be killed.

Recommendation: Yes. I've read the book that comes after (the first in a new series), and liked seeing what came before instead of just hearing a summary. The book was well-written and interesting.
