Author: Nora Roberts
Summary: This book contains the "classic" (at least according to the cover) novels "Time Was" and Times Change." Time Was is about Caleb Hornblower, a 23rd century space flyer, who accidentally hits the rim of an uncharted black hole and lands himself back in the 20th century where he meets Liberty Stone and falls in love. Times Change is about Caleb's brother, Jacob, coming back in time to find his brother and try to convince him to come home. Instead he has to wait for his brother to come back from a research trip and spends time with Liberty's sister, Sunny. Of course, Jacob falls just as much in love with
Sunny as his brother did before.
Recommendation: I was really rather disappointed in this set of books because it seemed to mistake sexual attraction for love. Romances generally have more than the people falling into bed and then "realizing" they've fallen in love with them. Admittedly, the second book was a little better about showing their personalities than the first, but it still seemed more like sexual attraction than any real feeling to me. I at least want some sort of romance. There were
more pages I skipped than read in some parts, and that's not a good book to me.
