Summary: This novel by Weis and Hickman is the first title in the Dragonlance Legends trilogy. Beginning two years after the War of the Lance, Time of the Twins follows the continuing story of twin brothers Raistlin and Caramon. Together with kender Tasslehoff Burfoot and the cleric Crysania, they travel back in time to Istar before the Cataclysm, each pursuing their own goals and
objectives.

Recommendation: I liked being able continue the story begun in the Dragonlance Chronicles, to see what was to become of the brothers Majere. The new character of Crysania added a new wrinkle to the story as well, becoming the same sort of tragically flawed character as Tanis in the Chronicles, but without the self-awareness to know that she is flawed.
