Touching Darkness

Summary: Taking place a week after the first in the Midnighters series, this is a continuation of Jessica Day and her friends' stories. Instead of battling slithers, they are battling daytime people who are trying to capture midnighters. Once they have them captured, they plan on turning them over to the forces of darkness that live in the secret hour for the slithers to make another halfling, as theirs is dying.

Recommendation: Yes. As always with Scott Westerfeld, I was drawn in
immediately. The story is very creative and full of action while being a completely new story idea.
