Title: Traitor
Author: Sandra Grey
Summary: This is a World War II book about Marie, an LDS coder, who parachutes into occupied France to try a new method for sending coded messages and to see her fiance Felix. She is quickly captured by the Germans and comes into contact with Major Rolf Schulmann. It's, of course, a romance, but it also has suspense that's hard to describe without giving away the entire plot. In the end, will Marie learn to trust the German major, or will she face the horrors of a spy in Nazi hands?
Recommendation: Yes, I thought it was good, but I didn't like the end and felt it left too much undone. I realize the author is setting it up for a sequel, but I was disappointed in the ending. Other than that, the book was well-paced and interesting, as well as suspenseful. It's certainly not anything other than a book to escape with, but it was well done.
