Summary: Ruby was found on the steps of the court building in Way Down Deep when she was about three and has lived there happily ever since. But now that a new family has moved to town and revealed a key to where she might come from, she has to decide where she wants to be.

Recommendation: I would recommend it to kids, because I think they'd probably like it. I thought it was okay, but I've read better kids books before.
