Summary: This is a compilation of accounts people have had with communicating with those that have not yet come into a mortal existence. There are many facts as stated and understood by those that experienced them as well as a few speculations as to what they mean. The author provides a few of her own stories as well as those across the country and globe. The experiences seem to span very different cultures and religions. The Foreword and Afterword also provide some interesting insight, speculation and perspective on the subject in general.

Recommendation: I would recommend this book to anyone with one caveat. This book needs to be written with an open mind. I believe criticism is a must, although it's important to bear in mind that there are a lot of things out of the realms of our comprehension that may still be possible. I don't necessarily believe all of these stories, but it can be of infinite worth to believe that these experiences may at least in part be true. The "facts" as stated by those who recall their experiences provide a great case, although some of the more eccentric speculations leave me mildly nauseated. In general, the book was well written and thoughtfully compiled.
