Summary: Bill Canavan comes into a rich valley wanting to start a ranch of his own. The other cattlemen in the valley are on the verge of war when Canavan comes into the picture, and they don't realize that Canavan holds the water rights to nearly the entire valley. There are others besides the current cattlemen and Canavan who are planning on having the entire valley to themselves and they'll stop at nothing to get it.

Recommendation: Yes, I enjoyed this book. The characters were interesting and the story was exciting. There are good twists in the story that keep you guessing.
